She's small... she's fierce... and she's completely Kitastrophic!
Kit Kitastrophe combines jazz standards and torch songs with a comedic edge and questionable taste. From Presley to Porter and from Waits to Weill, Kit's repertoire contains both the sublime and the ridiculous. Or, in her words, "I sing everything from torch songs to torture songs!" |
| Kit has shared the stage with many of the best and brightest
of New York's burlesque and cabaret community, including comedienne and The View co-star Joy Behar, the beautiful
ladies of Starshine Burlesque and Red Hots Burlesque, and has trod the boards
at Danny's Skylight Room, Don't Tell Mama, Don Hill's, The Pyramid
Club, and Irving Plaza. In her quest to bring cabaret to the [often unsuspecting] masses, Kit has even performed in such unconventional places as John F. Kennedy International Airport and more than one women's correctional facility (just visiting, of course!). |

When she's not singing, she's dancing-- a veteran NYC
performer, Kit has been a featured go-go girl at legendary clubs like
Mother, Remote Lounge, Slipper Room and Lucky 13 Saloon. Kit's one-woman show, So F***ing Happy (a night of Randy Newman), debuted to rave reviews at Don't Tell Mama in June of 2005. |
